WUMC is happy to announce that we have a new music director. Her name is Haeyeun Jeun and will be starting with us on September 1st this year.
She has experience as a Pianist/Organist and Harpsichordist for many choral groups and churches and 30 years of accompanying vocal and instrumental music. She has co-founded two music ensembles which are still going strong. Senoreh Inc. which is a Christian Classical Music Association and fivebyfive which specializes in modern chamber music. Haeyeun has had strong affiliation with UMC churches as most recently she worked for the Rochester Korean UMC as the Children’s Choir Director and before that was the Organist/Pianist for Greece UMC. Her education started in Seoul, South Korea with a Bachelor of Music and has completed both her Masters and Doctoral of Music with Eastman School of Music.
We are excited to welcome her to our church family at Williamsville in September.
